The Apartment

This Paris studio rental is on the third floor in a classical Parisian building. The living room window looks onto the street below and there is a nice view of the city's rooftops and even a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. The apartment is bright, has double glazed windows and some nice traditional features to balance the modern conveniences.

At 35 sqm, it is made up of a living room with an American style kitchen. The bedroom is in a curtained alcove and a settee bed is perfect for a child. This apartment is very pleasant and is in a lovely location for a couple with a child to get the most from their stay in Paris.

Musée Rodin, Pont de l'Alma, Quai Branly museum, rue Cler, École Militaire, Napoleon's tomb, Musée d'Orsay, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles ...

Rue Saint-Dominique itself is a heavenly location for museum goers. On your doorstep you have the military museum and Napoleon's tomb at Les Invalides, Musée Rodin, Quai Branly museum and the Museum of Modern Art beside Trocadéro (cross the Seine between the latter two on the pedestrian Passerelle Debilly bridge for a great view of the ornate Pont de l'Alma and the river).

If you are a good walker, you would be comfortable striking out from here for Musée d'Orsay and on to Musée Louvre (or you could take the Batobus hop on - hop off river boat).

Car-free Rue Cler is pretty much around the corner from this Paris holiday apartment and has one of the city's largest and, most exciting for foodies, permanent outdoor street markets. The well to do locals demand quality which means that the prices are not the cheapest in Paris! On Thursdays and Saturdays there is a super open air market at Saxe Breteuil behind the Ecole Militaire.

Hardly any need to mention that the Eiffel Tower is a stroll from the apartment and nearby Pont de l"Alma staion is where to catch the RER C train to Versailles.

Rue Saint-Dominique ... we enjoyed our stay very much

We spent five days in your Rue Saint-Dominique apartment at the end of June. The small studio was as promised and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Rue Saint-Dominique ...  Everything worked well

I was very happy with the apartment at 68 rue St. Dominique. It was an excellent location, easy walk to metro and just above a very lively street. However, no noise at night thanks to the double pained windows! Everything worked well and fully met my expectations. The only suggestion I would make is that the agency allow a little more time for client arrival from the airport. I have been to Paris many times and know my way around. Nonetheless, it was a struggle to make the meeting time at the apartment which was 2 hours after arrival at CDG airport. Overall, Paris Apartments Plus did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to stay with them again!!

Rue Saint-Dominique ...  location was great for accessing public transport

We stayed with our daughter at 68 Rue St. Dominique and loved it! The location was great for accessing public transportation and the grocery store as well as the bakery on the street were outstanding. We will be back.
