The Apartment

This amazing 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex Paris luxury apartment rental of 100 sqm has been completely renovated and decorated under the guidance of an interior designer. Everything from the furniture to the art and accessories has been carefully chosen to balance style and luxury with quality and comfort. It is worth the climb up the 4 flights of stairs to reach this haven with its high ceilings, decorative fireplace, mirrors, paintings and sculptures. The master bedroom with its queen size bed has an ensuite bathroom and dressing room. The second bedroom has twin beds that can be joined together to create a queen size bed if you prefer and the third bed area - in the mezzanine above the living area - also has twin beds.

Le Bon Marché, Marché Bilogique Raspail, rue de Rennes, Musée d'Orsay, Musée Rodin, Louvre, Musée de l'Orangerie, Tuileries, Brasserie LIpp, Le Procope, Les Deux Magots, Cafe Flore ...

From the windows in the living room you can see the Seine, the ferris wheel in summer and Sacré Coeur in the distance. Musée d'Orsay, Musée Rodin, Musée Louvre and Musée de l'Orangerie (both across the river through the Tuileries Gardens) literally have this Paris vacation apartment surrounded! Brasserie LIpp, Le Procope, Les Deux Magots, Café Flore ... we could continue for some time listing all the great local and famous cafes and restaurants to choose from but it's more fun discovering them for yourself. Rue de Rennes, rue du Four and boulevard Saint Germain are just a selection of the many up and middle market shopping streets on Rue du Bac IV's doorstep. As well as an amazing range of local bakeries, cremeries etc, Le Bon Marché, the city's most exclusive department and food store is just a few blocks away. On Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings the neighbourhood has one of Paris' best organic markets on boulevard Raspail.

For direct train connections with CDG and Orly Airports, use Saint-Michel - Notre Dame. Solferion/Musée d'Orsay is where to catch the RER C train to Versailles. If you are a good walker you would be comfortable striking out from here in one direction to Les Invalides and on to The Eiffel Tower, and in the other to Notre Dame and on to Île Saint Louis (or try the hop on - hop off Batobus which you can pick up on the river beside Musée d'Orsay).

Rue du Bac IV ...  absolutely ideal for our needs

Our Paris apartment at 3 Rue du Bac was absolutely ideal for our needs. With three adults and two children the three bedroom space was great and the location could not have been better for our needs. A 3 minute walk to the entrance to the Muse d’Orsay, a 10 minute walk to the Louvre and the list goes on. With an amazing bakery 30 seconds down the road, a Monoprix 3 minutes away and a Metro 5 minutes away (all by walking) we had access to all the amenities we required. Not to mention the great selection of restaurants in the 10 second to 10 minute walk range.

The apartment itself has two full bedrooms and a loft. The loft would not be ideal for older guests due to the tight spiral stairs but for children and teenagers it is ideal. The other two bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. There were also two full bathrooms (one with a shower only) that worked great. A full kitchen, including dishwasher, was easily spacious enough for two people to work in. The common room with the dining space along with the couch and chairs was very comfortable.

Eric, who facilitated our welcome and exit, was very helpful and guided us through all the items we required. There were very few issues experienced. The apartment is on the 4th floor (5th floor for North Americans) and there is no lift. This was not a major issue for our group but those having trouble with stairs would find it difficult. The air conditioning was not functioning. We were warned of this before our arrival and we were provided a number of fans to offset the warmth. We were also provided a discount for the inconvenience. The only other issue was with the WiFi. We could not have any more than two people connected simultaneously. With a connected family it was a small issue but not major.

Overall, the apartment is exactly as advertised and it fulfilled everything it promised (aside from the AC). No regrets and we would rent this apartment again in a heartbeat.

Rue du Bac IV ...  a beautifully furnished and located apartment

We very much enjoyed our stay at Rue du Bac IV, a beautifully furnished and located apartment. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was not working, and with the 4 flights of stairs to climb we had wanted a cool apartment for my 86-year-old father. It would also be helpful if there was a bit more glassware in the kitchen.

Rue du Bac IV ...  fabulous apartment

We rented the apartment Rue du Bac IV from 4.5.13 for a week, fabulous apartment close to all amenities and transport, it was exactly as depicted on the website.

As there were only four of each of the crockery – more of each would have been ideal. Bedding bathrooms etc were first class.

The stairs were a bit of a challenge, but great exercise.

I would certainly recommend this apartment/Paris Apartments Plus to anyone visiting Paris. The service I received from Liam was always helpful, informative and precise. I also used the taxi transfer as arranged by Liam- brilliant.
