The Apartment


This stunning 90 sqm Paris holiday rental is in a beautiful historic building with a superb interior courtyard. The apartment is on the third floor. It is very bright and can  accommodate up to 7 guests, making it ideal for a family or a group of friends. Rue de Sèvres IV is very well finished and the equipment is top-of-the-range, including air conditioning. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds that can be joined to form a king size bed and has a mezzanine level with a third single bed. The mezzanine level in the living area has a double bed also. There are TVs in each of the bedrooms and in the living area. The separate kitchen and two bathrooms are well finished. But the wow aspect of this apartment is the planted roof terrace. Sit here and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day while looking out on Le Bon Marché and the rooftops of Paris.

Walk from Rue de Sevrès IV to Luxembourg Gardens, Musée d'Orsay, the Rodin museum and Les Invalides. Choose from the art deco La Coupole and the cluster of famous restaurants around Vavin metro station or Les Deux Magots and its cafe culture comrades around Saint Germain metro station. If you are a good walker you would be comfortable striking out from here to The Eiffel Tower in one direction and Notre Dame in the other.

This location will also suit shopping oriented visitors to the city. As well as an amazing range of local bakeries, cremeries etc, the most famous names in fashion and interior furnishings have their shops on nearby rue de Rennes and Le Bon Marché, Paris's most exclusive department and food store is just the proverbial two steps away.

The neighbourhood is blessed with markets from one end of the week to the other - the open air markets along boulevard Edgar Quinet (food on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and artists on Sunday mornings) and the organic market on boulevard Raspail om Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings. With over 200 traders on Saturday and Sunday mornings, the city's third largest, but many Parisian's favourite, flea market at Porte de Vanves is only 5 stops on line 13 from nearby Duroc metro. 

The closest Metro stops are Vaneau (line 10) and Duroc (lines 10 and 13) and are each a five minute walk.

We were extremely happy with Rue de Sevres IV.

We were extremely happy with Rue de Sevres IV. We were ourselves, our 2 children, and my parents. My parents took the master, my husband and myself the other bedroom, and each child took a loft. Everyone was very happy and comfortable. The apartment is just the right size, not too big, but everyone having their own space. Every thing worked well and the terrace was perfect.

We have just spent 16 days in this charming apartment. It has everything self-caterers need.

We have just spent 16 days in this charming apartment. It has everything self-caterers need to make their stay comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of crockery, glassware, cooking utensils as well as condiments to accommodate most needs. Having two bathrooms and a separate second toilet was a bonus. This apartment block is in the centre of the complex and was whisper quiet.

There are a number of Metro stations within easy walking distance from our apartment, even one just across the road from our complex, all enabling us to get around Paris very conveniently. Visitors are spoilt for choice with a plethora of patisseries, bistros, restaurants as well as a supermarket, chemist, post office, a Nespresso store and even the iconic Le Bon Marche on the next corner! We wanted for nothing. It genuinely was like a home away from home and we felt very safe and secure.

As the description on the website tells people, the apartment is located on the third floor of this block with no lift however, there is also another flight of stairs within the apartment. All of the staircases combined, require a certain level of fitness to negotiate repeatedly each day. If you are not as fit as you would like to be, you certainly will be by the time your visit comes to an end, so this is not necessarily a negative point but something to be aware of.

Paris Apartments Plus impressed us with the way they handled our booking. We found them to be polite, courteous and efficient and would not only use them again but would be more than happy to recommend them.

Rue de Sevres IV ...  we felt right at home

We just spent a wonderful week at  Rue de Sevres IV at 89 rue de Sevres. The apartment is absolutely beautiful to the last details and we felt right at home as soon as we entered. It was spacious enough to accommodate a family of 3 children their parents and grand parents without feeling crowded and entertain visiting family . The weather was not as kind this time and we could not enjoy the balcony on the roof as we had envisioned, but we can come back another time and still enjoy the delicious food of the Grande Epicerie du Bon Marce and their very convenient delivery system. Arnaud was there to greet us and to say good by and was very helpful with our taxi at the last minute as he was to help us in the planning before our arrival. All in all good things only to say about the booking , the website and the quick response to all questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
