Flexible check-in and out policy for your Paris apartment rental
ARRIVAL BETWEEN 8am & 8pm - PERSONAL WELCOME CHECK-IN
We have a flexible check-in and out policy for your Paris apartment rental. At arrival between 8am and 8pm, our check-in person will be there to welcome you and show you around the apartment. It is important to send us your arrival and departure information as early as possible so that we can arrange the check-in for a time that suits you. No later than a week before your arrival date, you will receive an email from us which will include the name and mobile phone number of our check-in person and the meeting time at your apartment.
To avoid unnecessary waiting and to refine the time of your appointment at the apartment, we will ask you (if possible but not essential) to phone him/her when you reach airport arrivals or the train station in Paris. If you are using our Partner Transfer Service, the driver will look after this for you.
If you are arriving into Paris by car, we will ask you to contact your check-in representative when your are an hour from the city centre.
On arrival at the apartment:
- You will receive the keys and access codes to the apartment and building.
- Our check-in person will explain how to use the appliances (heating, air conditioning, washing machine, TV, internet etc.)
- You will be asked to sign the rental agreement and provide credit card details for the security deposit. The rental agreement must be signed by the person in whose name the booking has been made and that person must produce identification (identify card or passport). Without the mentioned, our check-in people cannot hand over take possession of the apartment and then the booking will be considered cancelled.
- For an early / late arrival (where you use our taxi partner transfer), we can make an appointment to meet you on the following day if you need help with any aspects of the apartment.
Your check-in appointment can be anytime between 8am and 8pm, unless we have a check-out from your apartment on that day. In this case, the check-in may not be possible before 2pm. This information is not always known when you book your apartment. We will do our best to check you in as early as possible after the latest departure time of the previous guest which is 10am.
Usually from 10.30am you can leave your luggage in the apartment and return a little later when the apartment is prepared and ready for you. If you want to guarantee access to your apartment before 2pm, we recommend that you add the day before your planned arrival to your booking.
For check-ins outside 8pm to 8am, we give keys to our partner Paris taxi service (for certain apartment managers) and ask you to book a late arrival transfer to your Paris apartment rental.
If you are going to arrive at your Paris apartment rental (for certain apartment managers) between 8pm and 8am (night/early morning arrival), we suggest you book our Partner Taxi Service for a late arrival transfer to your apartment. The driver will greet you at your arrival point in Paris, bring you to your Paris apartment rental and give you the keys and access code.
You can call the local managers office on the morning after your arrival if you have any queries about the workings of the apartment. We will send someone to the apartment to take you through everything if we cannot guide you over the phone.
If you do not use our Partner Taxi Service or if this arrangement is not compatible with your arrival mode or the apartment manager, you will be asked for an extra charge of EUR 30 to 50 (depending on the apartment manager) to be paid to a late/early check-in representative that we will arrange for you.
If you book a taxi through Paris Apartments Plus for a late arrival transfer to your Paris apartment rental, we will need in advance of your arrival in paris, identification (identify card or passport), and credit card details by email or phone for the secuirty deposit:
- Card Type: VISA, MasterCard, AMEX
- Card Number
- Expiration Date
- CVV: 3 security digits (4 for Amex)
It is mandatory to provide this information to us before your arrival to ensure that keys of the apartment are released to you by the taxi driver.
If you do book a late check-in representative, he or she will ask you to sign the rental agreement and provide credit card details for the security deposit. Check-out is by 10am on the morning of your departure. However, if we do not have a check-in on the day of, or the morning after, your departure you can check-out from your apartment at any time up to 8pm. We will do our best to facilitate a late check-out (or storage of your luggage at our office during the day) but please be aware that your apartment can be booked at the last minute for an arrival on the day of or the morning after your departure date.
If you want to guarantee a post 10am check-out, we recommend that you add the night of your planned departure to the booking.
